I’m a security consultant, mainly doing pentesting in real life.
How did you get into security?
By forum since age 12
What is the most important part of your work?
Popping shells and getting root or domain admin
Is there something about security that could convince students, enthusiasts, or other IT professionals in general, to pursue this career path?
Always keep trying hard, never give up 🙂
Any skills in particular that you think are crucial in today’s security landscape?
Management skills and business skills would come handy
What would be the best advice you could give to someone just getting started in the field?
Keep on practicing and self studying 🙂
