Full house
Hundreds of information security professionals, students, and enthusiasts gathered to attend more than a dozen presentations from infosec experts coming from all over the world, with the keynote talks coming from Black Hills Information Security’s Joff Thyer, and Tenable Security’s Carlos Perez. ¡La ganadora!
As a sponsor of Security BSides Puerto Rico 2016, eLearnSecurity gave away a Practical Web Defense training course in the Full Edition. The lucky winner of this hands-on course was Bianca Colón, a Computer Science student from the University of Puerto Rico.
Having been a recipient of the Cybersecurity Excellence award from ATACK-PR – a cybersecurity advancement body in Puerto Rico – and a presenter in the Women in Cybersecurity Conference (WiCyS) in the US, Bianca has begun proving her proficiency in the field, and Practical Web Defense will only add to expanding her skills in IT security.
